Women’s Hair Loss and Hair Restoration

Since hair restoration surgery is a good option for nearly 90% of the balding men in the country, women think they will also make good candidates, but this is usually not the case. Very few women have the type of hair loss that make them good candidates. Most women have diffuse hair loss instead, an overall thinning in all areas of the head, including the sides and back, which are the areas that act as donor sites in men. It is from these sites that the hair is removed for hair transplantation to other areas of the head.

Who Suffers from Gynaecomastia? Any male, of any age can suffer from Gynaecomastia, but is more commonly found in newborns and teenagers, but can also be found in older men. When babies are first born, they have high amounts of estrogen because of the mother. Male babies often form small breast buds that normally disappear within the first 6 months of life. On the opposite end, teenage boys can develop Gynaecomastia because they do not have enough testosterone in their body while going through puberty. Chemical Peel

Chemical Peel

Surgery Overview In a chemical peel, a chemical solution is applied to the skin and allowed to soak in. Over the next 1 to 14 days, depending on how deeply the chemical penetrated the skin, the skin peels off. This procedure destroys parts of the skin in a controlled way so that new skin can grow in its place. The chemicals used are sometimes called exfoliating or wounding agents.
Fat transfer

Fat transfer

Fat transfer is the injection of fat to various areas of the body to increase volume. Fat transfer of viable fat cells can augment the treated area, such as the face, breasts, cheeks, lips, buttocks, and chin. Fat transfer is also called fat grafting or fat injection. The procedure is a complex process: fat must be harvested in such a way as to preserve the integrity of the fat cells. Ordinary liposuction, laser liposuction and ultrasonic liposuction that disrupts the cell membrane of the fat cell will not produce living fat cells. Concentration of the fat and washing the fat will also affect the results.
Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers have been called "liquid facelifts" because they offer many of the benefits of a surgical facelift without the downtime.
Breast Lift

Breast Lift

Loss of skin elasticity, gravity and other factors such as weight loss, pregnancy and breast-feeding ultimately affect the shape and firmness of your breasts. Patients who are generally satisfied with the size of their breasts can have a breast lift to raise and firm them, resulting in a more youthful breast contour. Some patients may be unhappy that they have lost a significant amount of breast volume over time. In such cases, implants inserted in conjunction with a breast lift can increase breast size at the same time as the shape and position of the breasts are enhanced.
